These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the NamoNamaha website, mobile experience and related services (together, the "Platform"). Please read them carefully before booking a puja, darshan assistance or any other service through us.
NamoNamaha is operated by Zeebon Technologies Private Limited, a private limited company with its registered office at Flat No. 4A, Rajniwas Apartment, Barbari VIP Road, Magazine, Hengrabari, Guwahati, Kamrup, Assam 781036, India ("NamoNamaha", "we", "us" or "our").
The Platform helps devotees discover temples, book pujas, darshan assistance and related rituals, and arrange for these to be performed by independent, verified pandits — with updates, photos, video and prasad delivered back to the devotee where the chosen package includes them.
By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy & Cookie Policy, and any policy referenced in them (our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy in particular). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
In these Terms, the following words carry the meaning given to them below:
You may use the Platform only if you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are booking on behalf of a family member, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that the information you provide about them is accurate.
You agree to provide true, current and complete information when creating an account or making a Booking, and to keep that information updated. NamoNamaha is not responsible for a Puja performed incorrectly, delayed, or not performed at all, where this results from information you provided being inaccurate or outdated.
NamoNamaha is a facilitation platform. We arrange for independent Pandits to perform Pujas on a Devotee's behalf, coordinate scheduling, and, where a package includes them, arrange for Prasad to be shipped to the Devotee.
NamoNamaha is not a temple, temple trust or temple administration, and does not claim to be one. Unless a specific page on the Platform expressly states otherwise, NamoNamaha is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of Kamakhya Temple, its trust, or the administration of any other temple named on the Platform. References to a temple's name and imagery are made solely to identify the location where a Puja is performed.
Pandits engaged through the Platform are independent religious officiants and are not employees or agents of NamoNamaha. NamoNamaha does not itself perform any religious ritual.
Every Puja booked through the Platform is performed according to the traditional rites associated with it, to the best of the assigned Pandit's ability and the temple's prevailing practice.
Matters of faith, including any spiritual, material, health, financial or personal outcome that a Devotee may hope for or associate with a Puja, are outside NamoNamaha's control. NamoNamaha does not promise, guarantee or warrant any such outcome, and no statement on the Platform, by a Pandit, or by our support team should be understood as such a promise or guarantee.
What we do commit to is this: that a Booking, once confirmed, will be honoured — the Puja will be performed by an empanelled Pandit, in accordance with the details you provided, subject to the Rescheduling and Force Majeure sections below.
A Booking is made by selecting a temple, a Puja package, a preferred date, and providing your details and the Sankalp information (name, gotra, purpose) needed for the Puja, followed by payment.
A Booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. Confirmation does not itself mean a Pandit has yet been assigned — that happens as a separate step, communicated to you as your Booking progresses.
A Booking moves through the following statuses, visible to you in your account and communicated over WhatsApp/email where applicable:
All prices shown on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Payments are processed by Razorpay, our third-party payment gateway partner. NamoNamaha never receives, stores or has access to your card, UPI or net-banking credentials — these are collected and processed entirely within Razorpay's own secure environment. NamoNamaha stores only a transaction reference and its status against your Booking, as described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
A Booking is treated as paid only once Razorpay confirms the payment as successful. If a payment fails or is not confirmed, the associated Booking will not proceed and no Puja will be scheduled against it.
When you make a Booking, you are responsible for the accuracy of the name, gotra and contact details you provide for the Sankalp and delivery of any Prasad.
Because a Sankalp is recited with the specific name and gotra you provide at the time of booking, a Puja performed using a gotra you supplied incorrectly cannot be redone free of charge — a fresh Puja, at the applicable price, will be needed if you wish it repeated with the correct details. We recommend double-checking these details before confirming payment.
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, and not to act abusively, threateningly or fraudulently towards NamoNamaha's staff, support team or any empanelled Pandit.
There are circumstances, generally outside our control, in which we may need to reschedule a confirmed Booking rather than perform it on the originally chosen date. These include, without limitation:
Where a Booking must be rescheduled for any of the reasons above, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and offer the earliest available alternative date. If no suitable alternative date works for you, you may request a full refund for that Booking in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Where your chosen package includes it, we may record photographs or video of the Puja performed on your behalf, for the purpose of sharing this with you as evidence of completion.
Recordings made for a Devotee's Booking are owned by NamoNamaha, but the Devotee for whom the Puja was performed is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to keep, view and share that specific recording privately (for example, with family). This licence does not extend to using the recording commercially, or to any other Devotee's Puja recording.
Recordings may also be used by NamoNamaha for quality assurance and internal training, and, only with the Devotee's separate consent, for promotional purposes.
The NamoNamaha name, logo, the Platform's design, text, graphics and underlying software are the property of NamoNamaha or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use of the services in the ordinary course of booking a Puja.
When using the Platform, you agree that you will not:
The Platform may link to, or rely on, third-party services — including Razorpay for payments, WhatsApp and MSG91 for messaging, OneSignal for push notifications, and courier partners for delivery. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices, which we encourage you to review. NamoNamaha is not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party service we link to or rely on, beyond our own obligations described in these Terms and our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NamoNamaha's total liability to you arising out of or relating to a Booking — whether in contract, tort or otherwise — is limited to the amount you actually paid for that specific Booking.
NamoNamaha is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of any spiritual, personal or material benefit a Devotee may have hoped to obtain from a Puja, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
You agree to indemnify and hold NamoNamaha, its officers, employees and empanelled Pandits harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or any information you provided that was false, misleading or that you were not authorised to provide.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it for intermediaries operating in India, NamoNamaha has appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints regarding the Platform.
A complaint sent to the Grievance Officer will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt, and NamoNamaha will endeavour to resolve it within 30 days of receipt, as required for intermediaries under Indian law.
NamoNamaha will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where this results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, fire, government or temple-administration restrictions, strikes, internet or telecommunications failures, or acts of God. Where such an event affects a Booking, the Rescheduling and Cancellation & Refund provisions of these Terms will apply.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination of your use of the Platform (including, without limitation, Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will survive.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. NamoNamaha may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
No failure or delay by NamoNamaha in exercising any right under these Terms operates as a waiver of that right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Guwahati shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. Where a change is material, we will notify you by a notice on the Platform and, where you have an account, by email or WhatsApp, at least a reasonable period before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the version currently in force. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
